My Sister (younger) is a dork!

So there I was - just surfing around on facebook one night a few weeks ago and I come across a friend of mine that I had not thought of in quite a while. I check out his site and low and behold - my younger sister is on his friends list. Wow - she feel off the face of the earth sometime after my dad remarried. Not that it was a big deal - she and I were never very close. She was always getting into trouble and I was always getting blamed! My older sister and I have the closer bond. She has always been a great friend as well as "upholding her sister responsibilities." Over the years we have made jokes that our great friend Becky is our "third sister." Well - it's official now - Becky is my younger sister! Dork sister booted me off her friends list in less then 24 hours because I made a comment about the weather that she did not like. Seriously! She posted a pic and I copied it onto my fb commenting that I thought the hurricane was not the one she said it was. She got all pissy about me not knowing because I did not travel (or something like that) (huh? anyhow) and next thing I knew she had un-friended me. At first I thought "what a b*tch!" Then I figured that she never really changed. Bitter shows all over her face. She looks older than my other sister that is 12 years her senior. I'm glad I caught up with her boys though - most of them. Her oldest may never come around.

Soooo  - I still enjoy facebook and enjoy having a place to catch up with family, old friends and make new friends too. I liken it to "the old days" when folks spent the morning just making calls to friends and family seeing what was new in everyones days. I've been thinking too that it's not necessary to have a blog anymore either. Sooo - I will likely be giving this up soon. For $14.95 a month vs free facebook - well  - the math says it all. I've loved having my blog but certainly do not post nearly as often as I did at first. And I have so few friends that blog anymore. I still have facebook notes though! See you there - hopefully.
